We set no cookies of our own. Our analytics is cookieless, and we use no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking technologies.

Your browser may store a small amount of data locally to remember your preferences, such as whether you chose light or dark mode. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.

The scheduling tool embedded on our contact page is operated by a third party and loads only if you open it. When you do, that provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Because we do not track visitors across sites, we have nothing to disable in response to a browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal; we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.

• To respond to your inquiry, provide the information you asked for and continue the resulting correspondence.

• To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the site are useful, and to improve the site and our published material.
• To operate and secure the Service, including preventing automated abuse of the contact form.

We do not use your personal information to train machine learning models. Our Earth observation models are built on satellite, sensor and geospatial data, not on visitor data.

Service providers

Our hosting, database, bot-protection, analytics and scheduling providers process personal information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions.

Professional advisers

Lawyers, auditors and insurers, where they need the information to advise us.

Legal and safety

Where we are required to by law or legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of VegaMX, our users or others.

Corporate transactions

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We keep contact form submissions and the correspondence arising from them for as long as needed to deal with your inquiry and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and then for as long as required for legal, accounting or reporting purposes. Aggregate analytics data contains no identifiers and is retained on a rolling basis.

You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time — see Your rights and choices.

We use technical, organisational and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls on the systems that hold contact records. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot warrant the security of information you send us.

We are headquartered in the United States, and our providers operate globally. If you contact us from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your own.

Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK Addendum where applicable. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards we use.

• Access, correction and deletion. Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Marketing opt-out. Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email, or contact us. You will still receive replies to inquiries you send us.
• Declining to provide information. The contact form is the only place we ask for personal information, and it is entirely optional. If you would rather not use it, email us instead.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know what personal information is collected, to access and obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, of sharing for targeted advertising, and of certain profiling.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there is no opt-out to offer for those activities. To exercise a state privacy right, contact us at privacy@vegamx.net. You may use an authorised agent, and we may ask you to verify your identity before we act. If we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our response.

This section applies if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. VegaMX is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy.

Meeting our compliance obligations and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. We carry out no automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to websites operated by partners, research institutions and other third parties, and embeds a third-party scheduling tool. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their practices. Please read their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and where the changes are material we will provide a more prominent notice.
